Meet David Abioye

For over three decades, David O. Abioye has pursued the mandate from the Lord to “Lift up a standard for His people” by “teaching them how to do it by themselves.” His anointed teachings and highly impactful books are a compendium of revelations following deep encounters with God coupled with results of practical application of the Word of God to the issues of life.

For the past four decades, David has been rendering his stewardship under the leadership of his lifetime mentor, David Oyedepo, the Presiding Leader of Living Faith Church Worldwide Inc (a.k.a Winners' Chapel) where he is also privileged to serve as the First Vice President of the Commission.

The Divine Encounter

When Fire Met Purpose

In the early 1980s, a young engineering graduate attended a Christian Students' Fellowship meeting where he heard David Oyedepo speak. That moment became a turning point. He would later describe the experience simply: “Hearing him speak ignited fire into my spirit.”

He abandoned his plans to establish an automotive workshop, choosing instead to pursue full-time ministry. He served as the first Choir Master under David Oyedepo, and when Living Faith Church commenced at the Garden of Faith in Kaduna, he was there: one of seven founding members laying the foundation for what would become a global movement with over 5,000 branches worldwide.
